I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
